econstip began as a set of internal notes kept by a small group of economists and analysts based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, who kept getting asked to explain the same handful of economic indicators after they appeared in the news. Over time those notes turned into structured explainers, and we decided the material was more useful published openly than kept private.
Today, Economic Signals is maintained as a standalone, informational publication. We are not an investment firm, trading platform or data terminal provider, and we do not sell services, courses or memberships through this website.
We would rather publish an explainer a week later than publish one that hasn't been checked against reliable sources.
